I love it when I get creative! This has to be the funnest maternity shoot ever! Shannyn was such a good sport too! After the “normal” maternity photos were done we rolled up her hair in curlers, threw flour on her face & created what I consider to be an amazing scene. A pregnant woman slaving in the kitchen for her hunny, Betty Crocker style. Love it, love it, love it!

Tansy & I had a blast photographing Nick. Between the stopping traffic on 4th Street to get our explorer photo, to the putting Nick in a grocery cart inside IGA I think we all just about died laughing. This was definitely the funnest shoot we’ve ever had. “Shop it like it’s hot!”

Today’s inspiration covers new ways to display your photos. Find a weekend to go through your boxes of photos and pick the ones you really treasure and put them up around the house. We’ll go through how to create beautiful displays for next to nothing to some more expensive arrangements.
GLASS JAR FRAMES
This is a simple low cost system that can be a fun, eclectic way of displaying your photos. It requires the following tools and about 5-10 minutes to make:
* A clean, clear jar (free of labels)
* Photos
* Ruler
* X-acto knife or scissors
* Pencil (optional)
Here’s a sample of what the finished product will resemble.

WALL DISPLAYS
Wall displays are great new idea of creating dramatic works of art through your own memories. Mixing various frame sizes and colors can make a bold artistic statement in your home while also displaying images of the ones you love. Wall displays are great conversational pieces at dinner parties and gatherings too. Cover your walls with meaning and not just another piece from some artist you’ve never met.

COFFEE TABLE BOOK
Press printed books are all the rage now! These custom made books can be anywhere from twenty pages to eighty pages depending on your need. We are now offering these fully-customized books available in a variety of sizes.

Despite the aweful weather of about 60 degrees and the rain we got some great shots of our plastic lovin’ Barbies. These girls were great and did so amazing even with massive goosebumps. I love the tutu shots we did over off of Garland in Spokane where these gorgeous girls stopped traffic! I’m thinking next Barbie shoot should wait until summer is actually here so we don’t have hypothermic Barbies.
