Last weekend I photographed, our 2010 Senior Rep, Jessica’s senior photos. We went out to one of her friend’s houses near Twin Lakes. They have some gorgeous landscaping and have a private dock on the lake so it made for some great outdoor photos. Jessica reminds me of a real life Barbie with her beautiful blond hair, nice summer tan and piercing green eyes! She’s a bubbly, sweet young woman who enjoys being a cheerleader at her school. I have to say that’s an added bonus for me since I too was a cheerleader, ah memories. If you are still in need of your senior photos, there’s still time to make the yearbook deadline. Last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing Jessica, her husband Zach and their two beautiful little girls Cassidy and Alexis. We went out to the country for their shoot and the scenery was breathtaking! After Alexis realize I wasn’t the “big bad camera lady,” we had a blast. Of course this required me dancing several barbies on top of my camera but hey it worked! I absolutely love their beautiful curls and baby blue eyes! To all of those who are into triathlons, listen up! Saturday the Coeur d’ Alene Press will be running an article about the Rathdrum Adventure Race. This will the the second year this race has been held and some great new features have been added. This triathlon features a 20 mile bike ride around Rathdrum Mountain, 5 miles of kayaking through Twin Lakes, and a 6 mile run from Twin Lakes Resort to the Rathdrum City Park. You can enter as an individual or round up some friends and enter as a team.
This year you can enjoy a Spaghetti Dinner when you pick up your race packs at the Rathdrum City Park on Friday, September 11 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Saturday, participants and spectators can enjoy the Great Outdoors Sports Fair at the park that’s being hosted by the Friends of Rathdrum Mountain. There will also be entertainment and food ,activities for the kids and a Beer Garden! So bring the family and plan on spending the day. In addition, there will be a Grand Door Prize drawing for a new Bike or Kayak with a retail value of $1000.00. This is for race participants only and you must be present to win.
If you have a chance to grab a paper Saturday, you should! It will highlight the race and feature photos from last years race taken by yours truly! That’s right, Infinity Photography & Design is the official photographer of the Rathdrum Adventure Race! We’ll have a booth set up at the Great Outdoors Sports Fair with photos from last years race as well as how to look at photos from this year! Last weekend I photographed Cecilia’s senior photos. She has a smile that is gorgeous and contagious. Cecilia loves to draw and paint with water color and hopes to go into the fashion industry in college. I had her bring some of her sketches and paintings and we taped them up on an old loading dock in Coeur d’ Alene. I think that photo is one of my favorites! While Cecilia is usually behind the camera since she’s on the yearbook staff, I think she looks great in front of it! I can’t wait for her viewing to show her how awesome the rest of her photos turned out!
