Tracie contacted Infinity Photography about having portraits done of her daughter, their four-year-old black lab and herself. That couldn’t have made me happier since I love photographing pets and families so it was the best of both worlds. So many seem to forget about the family pet when it comes to portrait time which to me is sad. I’m glad we were able to capture some great shots of Tracie and her family. We went out to one of my favorite spots to photograph at in Spokane, out in the country on Wikiki Rd. For fall portraits, this is the prime location and offers several locations and great backgrounds. Jayden is an absolute doll and totally played up the camera. Such a beautiful family, like mother like daughter, it made choosing the sneak peek photos very difficult! If you’re still in need of family portraits give us a call we’d love to capture your memories.

Dacia was a very quiet girl compared to some of the seniors I photograph which allowed me to capture a different feel than most of my images have. I of course like changing it up so that was okay by me. Beautiful big brown eyes, brown curly hair and a soft, sweet smile creates beautiful soft yet dramatic portraits. As with almost all of the seniors we roam the alley’s in search of locations. While there’s only so many locations in downtown Coeur d’ Alene, it amazes me how each photo can still be so unique with each client. While senior season is pretty much over if you’re a junior in high school in the Coeur d’ Alene and Spokane area and would like to join our “Senior Street Team” to earn free senior portraits give our studio a call! We’ll be gathering our team starting in January 2010.

I had the pleasure of also photographing Kati’s family portraits and Will’s first birthday portraits after we took her sister Amy’s portraits. I must say that birthday shoots have to be my favorite because of the huge mess they make. I don’t think there’s anything better than a cute baby covered in a chocolate mess. First off, they’re beyond ecstatic that they’ve been given this sugary goodness and second the “oh no, am I in trouble” looks and the grins they get while devouring the cupcake is priceless! I absolutely love the photos of the family and as mentioned above, the cute “oh my” expression on Will’s face as he downs the delicious cupcake. If you’re tired of traditional portraits, give us a call and we’d be happy to capture your family in photographs that are unique, fun and that give you that warm fuzzy feeling because they’re just so dang cute!

Amy contacted me after the photographer she was going to use had to cancel because of an unexpected emergency. While I feel bad for the photographer, I’m happy my Facebook friend contacted me to do her and her sister’s family portraits. I don’t get to photograph many older children and it’s always a delight when I get to because they’re so helpful and sweet. I hope to get the pleasure to photograph these cuties again and see how they’ve grown. I think that’s one of my favorite parts of being a photographer, capturing a child as they grow up, it’s the next best thing to being not having a child of my own. If it’s been a while since your last family portrait give us a call, we’d love to capture your family in photographs that will be treasured for years to come.

My dear friend Andra who I grew up with had a little one of her own last year. It’s amazing to see how big he’s gotten and I can’t believe he’s already a year old! With his rosy cheeks, that he gets from his mom, and is big brown eyes he’s sure to have all the girls wooing over him. One thing for sure is he’s loved dearly by his family, and me! The little rascal is a crawler and escape artist and thought it to be very funny trying to lean on my background to make it fall over. Well he succeeded and it scared him half to death. I felt bad and it’s not the first time this has happened but luckily everything was okay. At the end of Anthony’s shoot he was rewarded with a messy chocolate cupcake that he devoured quickly. Great shots, lots of laughs and a messy baby, what more could one ask for. If your child’s nearing his or her first birthday give us a call to book their birthday celebration shoot and capture some memorable moments.
