I met Louise while having dinner with a friend at Moon’s Mongolian out in Post Falls. She saw some of the portraits I had with me and wanted to book a family session with her husband and two adorable boxers. Mac is getting up there in age and she wanted to make sure she had a nice photo of him before he passed. We took their family portrait across from their house and then moved inside for the pups portraits. When photographing dogs you have to make sure that their ears are good as well as their head position. This can be quite a task but squeaky toys and treats help. Mac and his younger friend Mini are complete treat addicts. While this did help them to get their ears and heads right, they kept wanting to come to me for their treat. I’m not sure what yields more funny sessions, kids or dogs! I had so much fun photographing these two adorable pups and highly suggest pet owners capturing their pet with a fun and memorable professional photo session. Ashley signed Kaydence up for our great Baby Grow Up Plan and I’m so excited she did. Kaydence is an absolute doll. While she wasn’t too sure at first about what the heck this lady with a camera and bright lights and all these different things she was being stuck in she soon warmed up and gave us some adorable smiles. We also snapped a few family pictures which turned out really cute too. I of course couldn’t leave little tango out since pet portraits is another one of my favorite things to photograph. Monae is a little Chinese Crested dog that is full of sass and energy. Her owner wanted to create a piece of art of this beautiful dog to hang in her home. We will print this photo as a 16×20 fine art canvas print. It will be stretched on a 1.5 inch frame so that it can be hung with or without a frame.
