Dacia was a very quiet girl compared to some of the seniors I photograph which allowed me to capture a different feel than most of my images have. I of course like changing it up so that was okay by me. Beautiful big brown eyes, brown curly hair and a soft, sweet smile creates beautiful soft yet dramatic portraits. As with almost all of the seniors we roam the alley’s in search of locations. While there’s only so many locations in downtown Coeur d’ Alene, it amazes me how each photo can still be so unique with each client. While senior season is pretty much over if you’re a junior in high school in the Coeur d’ Alene and Spokane area and would like to join our “Senior Street Team” to earn free senior portraits give our studio a call! We’ll be gathering our team starting in January 2010.

Lizann was one of our “Senior Reps” this year and I’m glad we found her! A few weeks ago we went around Coeur d’ Alene and took her senior photos. Racing the sun we had to hurry if we were going to make it back to the beach for her “Trash the Prom Dress” shoot. Luckily Lizann’s a natural in front of the camera so that wasn’t a problem. We got some great outdoor shots up on Tubbs Hill, and some urban photos in the alleys downtown, and then finished it up in her stunning prom dress. Brandon contacted me a few weeks ago because he was looking at getting into modeling. For this shoot we went around downtown Spokane through the colorful and grungy ally’s and ended at the fountain in Riverfront Park, goosebumps anyone. Brandon’s very photogenic and I think he’ll go far if he really pushes this. I’m thinking the next Abercrombie model! Brandon was so cool we got the beautiful Skye to join him for a photo. Thank goodness she happened to walk by while we were shooting because she really made this shot! Photographing Erica’s senior photos was beyond amazing. This girl has many talents including playing the violin and being an awesome ballerina. Put the two together and what do you have? An amazing shot! Having done her session in the late afternoon created for some beautiful lighting, perfect to capture the beauty of a ballerina. While Erica wasn’t too comfortable about going on point on the top of an oil barrel, I’m sure she’s happy she did! I absolutely love all the photos we took and had a blast doing so, white tennis shoes with a prom dress? How fun!
